How this website respects your privacy — and why there's no cookie banner.
This website does not set any cookies — not for analytics, not for advertising, not for session tracking. That is why you don't see a cookie consent banner. Under the ePrivacy Directive, consent banners are only required when cookies or similar tracking technologies are used. We don't use any.
We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other third-party tracking service. No external scripts on this site collect or transmit data about your visit to anyone.
We collect anonymous, aggregate page view statistics to understand which pages are visited and how often. These statistics are processed by our own server and are not shared with any third party.
This data cannot identify you personally. It is used solely to understand general traffic patterns and improve the site.
If you submit a message through our contact form or sign up for our beta waitlist, the information you provide (name, email, message) is stored securely on our own server. It is never shared with third parties or used for marketing beyond what you requested.
The Lesson Commons platform (learn.lessoncommons.com) is a separate application with its own privacy policies for teachers and students. Those policies cover data collected within the platform itself, including student progress, teacher accounts, and course content.
Like virtually all web servers, our hosting server records basic access logs (IP address, requested URL, timestamp, status code). These logs are used for security monitoring and are automatically rotated. This is standard web server operation and is not specific to Lesson Commons.
